Mr. Gilpin, as the President of FDL GROUP, brings a combination of operational, training development, medical and business experience to bear for the customers of FDL GROUP. With seventeen years of domestic and international government experience, including over a decade of providing tactical medical care in the pre-hospital environment, he is intimately familiar with the operational requirements of end users. In addition to this, he has developed and instructed curriculums for several federal agencies at the national/international level allowing him insight into not only how devices are used but also into the best methods to teach them to potential customers. Completing his M.A. while working full time as a Federal Agent, he left government service to become one of the first employees of a startup tactical medical device manufacturer and distributor. This experience led him to identify the lack of realistic end user focused training for currently fielded and new medical devices and led directly to the formation of FDL GROUP.
